These terms apply to every photoshoot booked with Dhruv Limbachiya Photography, trading as D Vision, Mumbai ("we", "us"), on dhruvphotography.com or directly. By booking, you ("the client") agree to them. If your booking has its own written quote or contract, that document wins where it differs from this page.

1. Booking and advance

Shoots are priced by the hour. The price for your date and hours is shown before you pay. Booking 3 hours or more in one go gets a lower total.
A slot is held for 60 minutes while you pay the advance. If the advance isn't paid in that time, the slot is released.
Advances are paid by UPI to our account. After you send the UPI reference, the slot stays held for up to 24 hours while we check the payment. Your booking is confirmed only when the money reaches our account.
The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot unless your invoice says otherwise.

2. Cancellations and refunds

Cancel 7 or more days before the shoot and 50% of the advance is refunded.
Cancel less than 7 days before the shoot and the advance is not refunded.
Medical cancellations are refunded in full within 7 days after we verify the medical documents.
If we have to cancel, you get the full advance back or a new date of your choice.
Refunds go back to the account the money came from.

3. Rescheduling

Ask to move your shoot as early as you can. We'll move it to another free date once without charge if you ask 7 or more days before. Later changes depend on availability.

4. On the day

Time starts at the agreed call time, even if hair, makeup or the client is late.
Overtime is charged at ₹1,000 per hour unless your quote says otherwise.
Location, venue or studio fees, permits and travel outside Mumbai are paid by the client unless included in the quote.

5. Delivery

Raw files from content shoots: the day after the shoot.
Edited photos: within 2 days after you send your selection.
Edited reels: within 5 working days.
Weddings: 4–6 weeks. Editorial and commercial work: 1–2 weeks.
Please send your photo selection within 20 days. After that, photos are not edited and no refund is due.
Delivery links stay active for at least 12 months. Please download and back up your photos.

6. Edits and retouching

Editing follows our natural style: colour, light, skin clean-up and small fixes. Heavy changes to body shape or face, or adding and removing people or objects, are charged extra and quoted in advance.

7. Who owns the photos

We keep the copyright in all photos and videos.
Personal clients get a licence to use, print and share the photos for personal use, including social media, with credit appreciated.
Commercial use (advertising, product packaging, paid campaigns) needs a commercial licence, which is included only when the quote says so.
We may use a small selection of photos on our website and Instagram. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us before the shoot or any time after, and we'll remove them.

8. Our responsibility

We use professional equipment and back up every shoot. If, for reasons outside our control (illness, accident, equipment failure, weather or other events), we can't deliver part or all of a shoot, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that shoot.

9. Behaviour and safety

We may stop a shoot if anyone on set is abusive or the location is unsafe. In that case the time already used is charged.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
